Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary AI Architect to lead the design, research, and deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions. This role combines advanced technical expertise with a strong research acumen to innovate in areas of generative AI, fine-tuning, NLP, retrieval systems, and scalable AI deployment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for solving complex problems and a track record of delivering impactful AI solutions in production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Model Research and Innovation
- Conduct advanced research to fine-tune, optimize, and integrate state-of-the-art generative AI models, including Llama, Gemma, Llava, BLIP, CLIP, and other LLMs and VLMs.
- Explore and leverage state-of-the-art architectures, such as transformers and retrieval-augmented techniques (RAG), to develop innovative solutions aligned with cutting-edge advancements.
- Apply deep mathematical principles to foster innovation in algorithm and architecture research.
Fine-Tuning Expertise
- Leverage fine-tuning methodologies, including PEFT (e.g., LoRA, QLoRA, etc), to adapt pre-trained models for specialized use cases.
- Develop strategies to enhance model efficiency, scalability, and robustness while minimizing computational costs.
Natural Language Processing and Retrieval Systems
- Build sophisticated NLP pipelines and retrieval-based systems to enable advanced contextual understanding and interaction.
- Utilize tools like LangChain, LangGraph, and LlamaIndex for seamless integration of language models into real-world applications.
- Conduct original research to develop bespoke frameworks where off-the-shelf solutions are insufficient, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
MLOps and Deployment
- Architect and deploy scalable, robust AI systems leveraging frameworks such as PyTorch and PyTorch Distributed for multi-instance GPU fine-tuning and training.
- Implement MLOps best practices for CI/CD, model monitoring, and performance optimization in production.
Collaborative Development
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into actionable AI-driven solutions.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and excellence across the organization.
Technical Proficiency
- Proficiency in frameworks such as PyTorch and tools like LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Milvus, W&B, DeepSpeed, etc.
- Proven experience with fine-tuning methodologies, including PEFT (LoRA, QLoRA), RLHF, and advanced prompting techniques (Few-Shot, Zero-Shot, etc).
- Strong understanding of distributed training, retrieval systems, and scalable NLP techniques.
- Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools for robust AI system deployment.
Mathematical and Research Acumen
- In-depth knowledge of linear algebra, calculus, probability, statistics, and optimization techniques.
- Ability to interpret and implement methodologies from complex research papers and high-impact journals.
- Proven capability to track and synthesize state-of-the-art research from A* conferences and academic publications for applied use.
